SENIOR STYLIST, ELWOOD
Rachael grew up in Mildura, rural Victoria, and has been in the industry for 13 YEARS.
SPECIALTIES: BLONDES & BALYAGES
Rach prides herself on delivering jaw-dropping results and creating a welcoming haven for her clients.
On her time away from the salon, Rachael loves to spend time with friends and family, eating yummy food and getting a workout in at the gym.
FUN FACT: she loves to read and thrillers are her favourite genre.
LUKE
SENIOR STYLIST, ELWOOD
Luke has been hairdressing for 24 YEARS and with Organika Hair Elwood for almost 14!
His smile and positive energy is contagious. He is committed to ensuring every client leaves their appointment looking & feeling FABULOUS!
Luke loves going on walks with his dog, taking time to explore and going to the local farmer's market!
FUN FACT: Luke is a big Kylie Minogue fan. If you hear a Kylie song in the salon - it is Luke!
Lydia
Senior stylist, ELWOOD
Lydia is from beautiful Scotland & began her hairdressing journey at age 14! She loves how rewarding it is to make her clients feel so confident & happy!
SPECIALTIES: LONG HAIR, BALAYAGE, FOILS & BLOW-DRIES
Lydia loves supporting client's unique styles, ensuring each visit is a delightful, professional experience.
Lydia also loves her curly hair clients!
Outside of work you'll find her making the most of Melbourne's food, coffee and music scene.
STEPH
Senior stylist, ELWOOD
Steph (or Stephie) is from a little village in the south-east of England. She has been hairdressing for almost 8 YEARS.
SPECIALTIES: BLONDES OR GREY BLENDING & CREATIVE COLOURING
Steph believes that your happiness is her priority, and she strives to deliver exceptional results that leave you feeling stunning & satisfied.
Steph loves to try out new coffee shops and go to the beach.
FUN FACT: She loves to travel and has visited 12 countries in 18 months!
MEL
SALON MANAGER
Melinda is an experienced Salon Manager, having started in the industry at just 15 YEARS OLD!
She is a TRUE PEOPLE PERSON & creates a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere for our clients! Mel’s warm, fun-loving nature makes her a perfect fit for her role & life adventures.
Mel loves traveling, particularly on cruises, pottering in the garden & relaxing with a social gin & tonic.
FUN FACT: She finds colouring in therapeutic & is a proud grand-mother of 10!
THELMA
SALON OWNER
In August 2024, Thelma became the new proud owner of Organika Hair, Elwood. Since then she is loving every day of this new chapter, having made this career shift after 20 years in the corporate world!
Thelma’s priority is to maintain a happy workplace for her amazing team to continue to thrive in.
Thelma loves working with this beautiful team & getting to watch them work their magic with all their clients!
FUN FACT: She loves playing Gaelic Football & when she’s not in the salon you can find her running around after her two busy little girls with her husband, John.
